Safe Mode

Safe Mode is a special feature designed to help recover malfunctioning devices. It can be activated on devices with an accessible user button by following these steps:

Activating Safe Mode​

  1. Using the Button

    • Press and hold the user button while the device is booting.
    • Release the button before the 10th second after booting starts.
    • If the button is released after the 10th second, the device will boot in its regular working mode and ignore the Safe Mode request.

  2. Automatic Activation (Reboot Loops)

    • Safe Mode will automatically activate if the device detects it is stuck in a reboot loop.

Behavior in Safe Mode​

Safe Mode only applies to the current boot session. While in Safe Mode:

  • Scripts are not executed automatically.
  • Schedules and webhooks are disabled.
  • Eco Mode is not activated.
